Meet the newest rung in the field of innovation - SyncTest. SyncTest suite is the solution for semi-automated parallel testing. Unlike other automation software tools, the direct benefits of SyncTest come from manual parallel test execution and thus zero waiting time for automated test scripts preparation. The main idea behind the tool's functionality is the multiplication of the tester's manual activities through a specially crafted program from one environment to the applications across other test environments. It can provide several benefits when used correctly, the most valuable of which is the reduction of overall test execution time and implementation costs.

Welcome to SyncTest feature description. This section covers basic UI overview alongside with information about available features. Feel free to take a look around and get in sync.
This feature is responsible for remote client management. Client manager contains the list of clients that are currently connected and helps in discovering, connecting or removing additional remote clients.
This feature is responsible for accessing the details of the currently selected client. The information gathered includes the connection state, position, resolution as well as client name and RTL culture affinity.
This feature helps in viewing small scaled objects (text or icons) on the remote client. It is used to reveal the "zone" around the mouse cursor of remote OS. These zones are used to track clicks on remote clients and enable accurate manipulation of the cursor especially in case of severe scaling of remote clients.
This feature is responsible for accessing the performance metrics of each remote client. The tool contains real time details of CPU, RAM and Network utilization of connected clients. The user is notified of any severe deviation of performance.
Viewport Display Settings
Bits per pixel BPP. By modifying the color depth setting, the user can optimize the visual experience while working with ViewPorts and affects each of its connected instances. The more bits per pixel is set - the more traffic is consumed.
Resolution modifier. This setting affects the actual resolution of the remote client. The setting affects every connected client. In case resolution, and thus pixel number, increase - there could be more network traffic utilized in a certain moment of time.
RTL handling. This feature is useful during localization (L10n) and internationalization (i18n) testing. It inverts mouse moves according to the layout when there is a need to work simultaneously with RTL and LTR languages.
Image Mode Helper
The Image Mode Helper tool allows you to modify the image recognition zone. Image mode is enabled through either clicking the image icon near Master View or using a hotkey. When image mode is enabled, the remote clients' manipulation enables control through a search for identical or nearly identical graphic elements on a secondary/guest OS.
The Screenshot Capturing tool provides following features: Screenshot folder location. Selects path to the folder is set via standard browse "..." window. Screenshot Capturing Mode switch. This setting can either force the screenshots to be captured independently from the mode set in "Viewport Display Settings" tool or follow the suggested focus. Mouse cursor handling. This trigger can enable or disable the mouse cursor presence on the screenshots. Additional extra screen capturing settings are located under "View" > "Settings" > "Screen Capture" section.
The Video Capturing tool provides following features: Captured Video folder location. Selects the path to the folder is set via standard browse "..." window. Video recorder controls. Also you are able record individual remote clients by pressing record icon near corresponding client. After the video has been captured, it is possible to navigate to the captured video file straight form the SyncTest Center UI. Simply click the captured machine name and then click "Open Location" button. The extra capturing settings are located in "View" > "Settings" > "Screen Capture".
The File Transfer tool provides following feats: File transfer controls. This feature allows sending file or a set of files to remote clients. The feature is useful for the mass build deployment or test data preparation. Additional Actions with transferred files are also available. The default transfer location on remote client can be under "View" > "Settings" > "General" section via "File Transfer Folder" drop down.
This feature is responsible for the methods of input replication. The default one, mirroring, simply duplicates the input of keyboard and mouse across clients. The more advanced modes are also available and enable image and control detection and replication.
This feature is used for viewing and controlling the SyncTest Client deployed remotely. It is responsible for the manipulations on the guest side (much like a VNC viewer). SyncTest ViewPort can be set as Master for control replication or docked to SyncTest Workspace for better handling.
This feature is responsible for the ViewPort handling. It provides a functionality of grouping Viewports into a single window to facilitate the manipulation of windows. Alongside with Clients manager it enables enhanced usability experience.
